Whipping down Highway 401 through Chatham-Kent has landed a Mississauga resident with charges.
Early Sunday afternoon, officers with the Eglin OPP clocked a vehicle heading eastbound at 161 kilometres an hour in a 100 zone.
The 27-year-old behind the wheel was arrested and charged with stunt driving. The driver also had their license suspended for 30 days and the vehicle was impounded for 14 days.
Authorities are reminding everyone to call police to report suspected impaired drivers or any dangerous driving behaviours.
