Amelia was born and raised in the small town of Bothwell, Ontario (a town of a mere 950 people), and is the youngest of 3 girls. Ever since she was a little girl, her interest in singing and performing was quite evident. Having started singing at the age of 4, every night she would sing alongside her Dad while he played away on the keyboard. Today, Amelia still says her favorite thing to do is sing and play alongside him.
Amelia started taking singing lessons at the age of 8 and sang all threw elementary school in the church choir. Over the years Amelia has participated in many events, shows and singing competitions across southwestern Ontario. Amelia also took piano, drum, guitar and modeling lessons throughout her childhood years.
In 2008, Amelia got in touch with Lake Effect Studio and started working on a 3-song demo. After the completion of her demo, she decided she wanted to do more and started working on her debut, 10-song album. Tackling one of the toughest aspects of music, Amelia co-wrote 4 of the songs; three with the amazing talents of Taylor Abram, and one with the extremely talented and renowned songwriter Larry Wayne Clark.
Just recently, Amelia started production on her first music videos which will be released summer of 2014. Stay tuned!
