Indie Artist Singer, Songwriter, Producer, and Guitarist Christian Vegh was born in Detroit, Michigan, and has been referred to as a “young guitar prodigy with an old soul”  the “type of young artist that will shape music for the next 50 years” and the “hottest young guitar player in the nation”.   His first song released from his Portraits of Sentiments album “90’s Movie” with Mi5 Recordings – Universal Music Group charted for 13 weeks on the Top 50 Global Charts.  His second release “I Think I’m Gonna Die Young” charted #13 and “Weekend Homewreck a collaboration with the Detroit Rock Band “Slight Return” charted at #10 on the DRT Rock Chart.
Christian is a 2019 graduate of the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston in Performance & Songwriting.  He has received the American Federation of Musicians’ “Charles McDaniel Award”.  This award is given out every 3 years to a musician and is awarded for Diversity, Creativity, Innovation & Excellence in Music.   He received the award & scholarship at the 100th Convention of the American Federation of Musicians in Las Vegas).  He has also received the  Berklee College of Music Scholarship and Generation Blues Scholarship from the Blues Society of Memphis.  Skilled in Jazz, Blues, Rock, and Pop Vegh’s genre  of music is best described as “Renaissance Rock.”
Vegh was also named to the “Brotherhood of the Guitar”, which recognizes the top 16 guitarists Internationally (21yrs. & under), sponsored by Ernie Ball Guitars, Music Man, and Guitar Center.   He was honored to have a video and photoshoot in Las Vegas with famed Rock and Roll photographer Robert Knight for this award.  He is honored to have a signature guitar “The Christian Vegh – Windsor CV” designed by King Blossom Guitar which was showcased at NAMM
Christian received the  Biz X International Magazine “Artist of the Year” award.  He was also a semi-finalist in the worldwide International Songwriting Competition.  “ISC has the most prestigious panel of judges of all the songwriting and music contests in the world”.  Christian was chosen in three categories for Blues and Unsigned for “Chains in Mind” and Instrumental “The Farm”.
Christian has worked on many projects including an internship with Warren Huart (Producer for Aerosmith) in LA and Nashville; writing and performing for YouTube giant Spectre Media Group in Germany and LA. His music from “Can you play Metal on a Telecaster?” was featured in Guitar World and Guitar Player & Ultimate Guitar Magazines receiving millions of views. Christian has recorded his original songs with players like Tony Franklin (The Firm), Greg D’Angelo (White Lion), Gregg Bissonette Ringo Star All-star Band, Matt Bissonette (Elton John), Matt Starr (Mr. Bigg), and worked with producers Warren Huart (Aerosmith),  Stacy Heydon (David Bowie) and Marty Bak (Tea Party)…
He will be scoring a movie with Ziad Hamzeh who has won over 40 awards for movies and plays.
This award-winning artist has been featured on many magazine covers, articles, and media shows. Vegh was honored to represent the U.S. in a video from the Netherlands with some of the top guitarists from around the globe. He has shared the stage with Robyn Ford, Steve Vai, Scott Holt, and Suzie McNeal and performed at NAAM – California and Nashville, Musikmesse – Germany, Berklee Performance Center – Boston, International Music Festival New York, Detroit RiverWalk Festival, Windsor Bluesfest, Motor City Muscle Hart Plaza, Royal Oak Arts Beats, and Eats, International Children’s Games, BB Kings, Nashville Civic Center, Sonny Rhodes Induction into the Canadian Blues Hall of Fame, Hugh’s Room Toronto, Harvest Festival New Hampshire, Caesars Windsor and headlined Passport to the World for the International Children’s Games and for 10,000 people at the opening ceremonies …
Christian gives back to the community that has been so supportive of his development as a musician through charity events and fundraisers.  “Christian Vegh Rocks the Capital” a multimedia Art/Music event raised scholarships for the Windsor Symphony Orchestra High School Education Program Sponsorship”; The “Christian Vegh Windsor Symphony Orchestra Scholarship for SoCA – University of Windsor”; the St. Clair College Performing Arts Scholarship and the “Christian Vegh Windsor Symphony Youth Orchestra Annual Scholarships”.
Christian has been a “Me to We” speaker/performer, received a grant for the “Think Global/Act Local” seniors/youth engagement music program and wrote a theme song for an anti-addiction youth engagement program winning a scholarship.  He teaches Master Classes, Guitar Clinics and has taught the Blues School Program with the Canada South Blues Society.
Christian is known as a tenacious and humble musician with strength in live performance and credits his music teachers for inspiring him and shaping his life.  He strives to improve the lives of others through his gift of music.
