Melanie Ungar is a 20-year-old Toronto singer-songwriter to keep your eye on. A smooth, silky vocal with lyrics that resonate with listeners, Ungar says music is who she is.

“I could sing before I could talk. I want to inspire people because people inspire me,” she said. “I want to make people smile. I want to make people laugh. I want to make people open their hearts. I want to make people enjoy life. I want to have an impact on someone’s life, through music.”

Melanie is currently a third-year university student studying psychology. At age eight, she wanted to be a “singing doctor”and was filling out applications to Harvard at age nine.
