#SPOTLIGHT: Scott Howarth Band

THE #SPOTLIGHT PREMIERES THE BRAND NEW SINGLE FROM LONDON’S SCOTT HOWARTH BAND – “MUSIC MADE ME DO IT” IS AVAILABLE NOW! HEARD DAILY AT 9:30 AM DURING XS MORNINGS WITH JAY & ROBYN!

The new tune from London’s Scott Howarth and company was allegedly inspired after a close call on a speeding ticket. One of the songwriters (we won’t name names, but his name rhymes with Blot Dowarth) was driving a little too fast while blasting (and likely singing along) to a track from country music’s Jason Aldean. Music Made Me Do It touches on the connection music has on our behaviour.
A recent string of new releases from London’s Scott Howarth Band have continued to gain traction across the province. This new release will most certainly be no different.
The prior release “It’s You”, alongside the 2021 summer anthem “Everybody’s Welcome” and an earlier single “Just Fine” are putting the Scott Howarth Band on the map in Ontario’s country music scene.
Based in London, the Scott Howarth Band is one of the area’s latest country music breakthrough acts. With influences ranging from Hank Williams and Elvis Presley to Luke Bryan and Eric Church, The Scott Howarth Band brings a mix of traditional and modern country for an uplifting slice of Country Rock with heart felt lyrics, infectious guitar instrumentation with catchy harmonies and anthemic choruses.
The Scott Howarth Band was formed by a great group of friends with a passion for making music together. Having played together on various projects over the years they felt it was time to pool their creative talents towards a common sound. Through time together on the road and in the studio The Scott Howarth Band is a group of brothers separated at birth and reunited through music.
With nearly 100,000 streams on Spotify overall, the 2019 Scott Howarth Band release “Turn Up The Radio” put the spotlight on Scott and company. The track, a self-proclaimed ‘party starter’ is another track written by Scott and fellow local singer-songwriter and country musician, Aaron Allen as well as London’s Juno Award winning Dan Brodbeck.
