Spokesman John Fairley says that while there is no teaching taking place during the strike, college facilities remain open.
“We think it’s important for those that for those who are out of town, in residence, or an international student, or those who just want to get caught up on things, we didn’t want to close the doors just because we have a work stoppage”, says Fairley.
Information pickets have been set up outside the Thames Campus today.
The strike affects over 12,000 full and partial load faculty across Ontario, including 341 at St Clair College.
