Officials with the St Clair Region Conservation Authority will be focusing on any concerns about the river as a source of drinking water.

Donna Strang, coordinator of the St Clair River Remedial Action Plan, says industrial spills forcing the closure of drinking water intakes haven’t been an issue recently, however officials with the Wallaceburg Advisory Team for a Cleaner Habitat want to see more detailed information on current spill prevention technology.

Tonight’s open house gets underway at 5 o’clock at the Canadian Belgium Dutch Club.
