State Of Emergency In Ontario Extended Four More Weeks

Saying we are not out of the woods yet premier Doug Ford has announced the extension of the provinces State of emergency another 4 weeks.

The legislature passed the measure during the day and it was announced last night.

The measure which now runs through June 30th, includes the limit on gatherings to 5 people and bars and restaurants will remain closed except for take out and delivery.

Ford says the provincial government will be taking a regional approach as Ontario continues to slowly re-open the economy.

Among the discussion on the floor is the re-opening of hair salons, a hot topic locally.
