The 12 Days Of Positivity will return to Chatham-Kent this fall.
With Positivity Day set for Friday, October 4th, TekSavvy has been introduced as a major sponsor for this year’s celebration.
Teksavvy COO Pierre Aube says being a part of this initiative is about much more than sponsorship dollars.
“Our whole mandate is to actually participate in the community, not just hand out some sponsorship,” Aube says. “How else can we help enhance the community of Chatham-Kent?”
Our two local heroes, Captain Positive and Opti-Woman will once again be highlighted, and say the best part of the celebration is the involvement of kids across Chatham-Kent.
“It is insane and it is crazy,” Captain Positive, portrayed by event co-chair Jason King says. “When we see people smiling and happy to see us, when we go to schools and the kids are screaming at the top of their lungs, you’d think we’d be exhausted but really they charge us up that whole two weeks, it’s fantastic.”
The 12 Days of Positivity will celebrate all things local from September 23rd to October 4th culminating with a $10,000 giveaway at the Capitol Theatre on Positivity Day.
