Stem Cell Drive In Honour of Jocelyn McGlynn

A special donation drive is being held in memory of Chatham’s Jocelyn McGlynn.

The 23-year-old lost her battle with Leukemia last August, and now her former medical science classmates at Western University are trying to encourage more people to become stem cell donors.

After her diagnoses, McGlynn and her family organized a number of stem cell drives with Canadian Blood Services, recruiting over 2000 new donors.

The “I’m In for Jocelyn” campaign kicked off this past weekend, with another Zoom session being held on March 13th.

Click here to join anytime that day between noon and 4pm.

The Stem Cell Club will also be raising awareness over the next few months with social media posts in McGlynn’s honour.
