
An arrest has been made in connection to stolen lottery tickets from Tilbury late last month.
Chatham-Kent Police said a man stole two trays of lottery tickets from the Circle K convenience store on Queen Street North the morning of August 28th, and one of those tickets was later cashed in at a different store.
With the help of surveillance photos, a suspect was identified and a warrant issued for his arrest.
Monday, a 37-year-old man turned himself into police.
The accused has been charged with wearing a disguise with the intent to commit theft, theft, and possession of stolen property. He was released with conditions and a date in court next month.
