Two people are facing charges in connection to a bust in Chatham.
Officers executed a search warrant at a home and attached garage on Bloomfield Road earlier this month, seizing close to $18,000 worth of drugs, Canadian cash, and counterfeit American currency.
Police also recovered more than $65,000 worth of stolen property from Chatham-Kent, Sarnia, and Oxford County, including an ATV, tractor, and a trailer loaded with construction tools.
A 39-year-old Chatham man and 37-year-old Chatham woman have now been arrested and charged with possession of counterfeit money, eight counts each of possession of stolen property, and five counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
The pair were released from custody with a date in court next month.
