A stolen vehicle caught the eye of a Chatham-Kent Police officer and landed one man behind bars.
An officer on general patrol Thursday morning spotted a vehicle heading west on Talbot Trail near Morpeth and confirmed the vehicle had been stolen earlier in the day from St Thomas.
The driver initially failed to stop for police but eventually pulled over.
A 28-year-old Ontario man is facing a slew of charges, including possession of stolen property over $5000, dangerous driving, flight from police, and mischief, along with other offences.
He was taken to police headquarters and held for a bail hearing. He will also have to answer to authorities in St Thomas.
