A Chatham man has learned the hard way that the customer isn’t always right.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers were called to a Lacroix Street store in Chatham on Tuesday shortly after 11 a.m.
Authorities said a man entered the store and became upset with a male employee. The man then pushed the employee, knocking off his glasses before leaving the store.
Officers located a suspect later in the day and placed him under arrest.
A 36-year-old man from Chatham is now charged with mischief and assault. He has been released from custody with a future court date.
