Hydro crews are working to get the lights back on for thousands of customers across the region after a series of storms rolled across the area Wednesday night.
Thunder, lighting, high winds, and heavy rain pounded southern Ontario, although Chatham-Kent was spared the worst of the damage.
According to Hydro One, just over 60 residents in the rural area around Wallaceburg were without power until shortly before 6 o’clock Thursday morning.
In the Tilbury area, both Hydro One and Entegrus crews are working to restore power to roughly 3400 customers combined, with an estimated restoration time of noon.
