As volunteers prepare for toy and food package delivery this week, the Chatham Goodfellows are thanking area residents for their generosity.
Volunteers were out Friday and Saturday collecting donations for the Street Sales portion of the No Child Without a Christmas campaign.
In all, local residents gave $30,747, up nearly $4600 from last year.
This year’s Porchlight campaign bring in more than $57,000, and officials say final numbers are still being tallied with more donations coming in.
In 2022, the Chatham Goodfellows spent in excess of $200,000 to support families in need.
Goodfellows volunteers will be delivering toy baskets this evening, followed by packing and delivering food hampers tomorrow.
