A police chase near Moraviantown has landed police with over $10,000 in drugs.
Officers on patrol spotted a truck heading west on Selton Line – authorities say the man behind the wheel driver had already been banned from driving and gave chase. The driver sped off down Orford Road. Police later found the vehicle stuck in a snow-covered field on Goodbrand Line.
A search of the suspect uncovered suspected fentanyl, crystal methamphetamine, heroin and packaging materials.
The 24-year-old has been charged with three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and breaking his release conditions.
