Student Art Exhibit at the Co.

A special display in Chatham tonight features artwork by some local high school students.

The Co. at the corner of Queen and Richmond in Chatham will be showcasing an exhibit entitled “Hero Portraits” drawn by grade 12 students at Chatham-Kent Secondary School.

Their teacher, Karen Bourassa gave her students an assignment to draw a portrait of their own personal hero.

Tonight’s exhibit includes work ranging from famous influencers to family relatives.

The reception runs from 6:30 until 8, and is open to everyone.

Located at 208 Queen Street, The CO. is a local creative arts and therapy studio. It offers creative arts therapy, community classes and an artist residency program. The CO. aims to support mental health through the arts and engagement with the community
