Organizers of the upcoming International Plowing Match and Rural Expo are feeling the love.
A special ceremony was held at the Sons of Kent last night to recognize 16 new sponsors for the event, donating a combined total value of $320,000 in cash, services, and equpiment.
Co-chair Leon Leclair says it’s overwhelming. “Just an awesome mix of where the sponsors came from, Ag, urban, it was just an awesome event.”
Among the new sponsors is TekSavvy, which presented organizers with a cheque for $100,000.
“We are continuing our legacy of service by sponsoring the 2018 International Plowing Match and Rural Expo being held in Pain Court, here in Chatham-Kent,” says Natasha Ell Saunders, Senior Vice President of Legal Affairs. “Events like this are one of the many things that make Chatham Kent a great place to live, work and play.”
The IPM kicks off in Pain Court on September 18th.
