Supporting Kids in CK

The Butterfly Building Campaign is getting a huge donation later today.

The Carlo A. Corsini Fund and the South Kent Wind Community Fund are contributing $100,978 to the Children’s Treatment Centre Foundation.

The funds are distributed by the Chatham-Kent Community Foundation, which has helped many local campaigns and charities.

“We saw there was a need,” indicated Paul Mayrand, CKCF Board member. “If you want to care and help the community you have to look at those who are most vulnerable and ask yourself what you can do. And what we can do is make sure that the children and youth of Chatham-Kent are properly cared for in a safe, fully accessible environment that will allow them to thrive.”

The Butterfly Building Campaign is raising money for a new 50,000 square foot facility for the Children’s Treatment Centre on McNaughton Avenue West near Bear Line.
