Impaired driving charges have been laid following a traffic stop in Tilbury.
Chatham-Kent Police pulled over a vehicle on Azar Avenue around 6:30 Thursday morning and suspected the driver may have been under the influence of alcohol.
The man was arrested and taken to police headquarters in Chatham for further testing.
The 22-year-old Tilbury man has since been charged with operation while impaired and operation with a blood alcohol level over the legal limit.
He was released from custody with a date in court next month.
