Driving without a license is never a good idea and a Chatham man discovered that the hard way Monday afternoon. 
Chatham-Kent OPP stopped a vehicle on Communication Road near Creek Road, had a chat with the driver, and discovered his license was suspended.
So they charged the 46-year-old Chatham man with driving while disqualified and driving while under suspension.
His vehicle was also impounded for 45 days and he has a court appearance set for October 5th.
