In honour of the long weekend, the municipality is offering free rides to the beach. 
The Beach Bus, which travels between Mitchell’s Bay and Erieau, will have fares waved today through Monday.
The inter-urban route makes stops in Grande Point, Pain Court, Chatham, Charing Cross, and Blenheim.
This is the 7th year the Beach Bus has been offered for free over the Civic Holiday weekend.
