It might have snuck up on you but Monday, March 1st is the due date for your Chatham-Kent tax bill.
It might seem like a great excuse to forget about paying that tax bill by saying you never received a bill but the municipality doesn’t want to hear it.
That’s why you are getting that reminder today. Not receiving the bill is not an acceptable excuse for not paying it. In other words…it’s on you.
You are asked to call 519-360-1998 to update your address and you will be given the option to pop over to the Civic Centre on King Street and pick it up yourself.
Also, if your tax bill still references general delivery or a Rural Route number you are also asked to contact the municipality to update the address.
