A retired Chatham violin teacher is facing charges stemming from some historical sex offences dating back roughly 30 years.
Chatham-Kent police say 70-year-old Claude Eric Trachy is facing ten counts of sexual assault, five counts of sexual interference, and three counts of sexual exploitation involving school-aged girls.
According to Chatham-Kent police constable Lisa Rodger for more than 50 years, Trachy was a freelance strings teacher in Chatham.
