Secondary School Teachers across the province are picketing today, demanding the provincial government return to the bargaining table and address issues like class sizes.

Outside the steps of WDSS, dozens of teachers carried signs and flags, spokesperson Tim Dolbar.

“Nobody wants to be out here, but camaraderie is good and it’s nice to see your colleagues,” says Dolbar. “But we’re doing it for education on the whole. We’re doing it for you, because class size is going to affect your kids in the future.”

It’s hoped that only a one day demonstration will be required.  Students and teachers will be back at school again tomorrow.
