Junior Achievement is looking for volunteers to help teach kids financial literacy.
President and CEO Barb Smith says if you have a few spare hours this year, they could use your help.
“It’s literally only four hours of commitment, we give you all the materials, we train you, and we hook you up with a fantastic class in either Chatham-Kent, Sarnia-Lambton, or Windsor-Essex,” Smith says. “It takes very little time, but does so many great things in educating these youth for the future.”
The in-school program involves teaching elementary students how to make a budget, spending money wisely, and how to save money.
Details on how to sign up as a volunteer can be found here.
