A Chatham teen has been arrested after a brawl near John McGregor Secondary School last week.
Chatham-Kent Police were called to the Cecile Avenue area on Monday, October 23rd after a young person had been chased by a group of students. The victim was allegedly knocked to the ground, punched, and kicked repeatedly.
The victim later sought medical attention for non-serious injuries.
Yesterday, a 16-year-old girl was arrested and charged with one count of assault causing bodily harm. She was released with conditions and a date in court next month.
It’s not clear at this point whether police are still looking for any other suspects in the attack.
