A Chatham teenager accused of attacking someone with bear mace has been arrested once again.
Back on March 7, 2025, Chatham-Kent Police were called to the area of Queen Street and William Street after a woman was assaulted with bear spray by a group of youths.
Officers arrested two teen boys and one teen girl at the scene.
One of the suspects, a 16-year-old boy from Chatham, was released with conditions, however, when he failed to show up for his scheduled court date, a warrant was issued for his arrest.
The teen turned himself in to police on Wednesday. He is currently facing charges of assault with a weapon, administering a noxious substance, and failing to comply with an undertaking.
