A Raleigh Township teen has been arrested after a violent confrontation in Chatham.

According to Chatham-Kent Police, the young woman approached a boy on King Street last week, knowing he was under court orders not to associate with her. The teenage girl then allegedly shoved and punched the young man with several bystanders watching on.

Officers were unable to find the suspect and a warrant was issued for her arrest.

Tuesday afternoon, the 15-year-old turned herself in at police headquarters and has been charged with assault. She was released with conditions and a date in court next month.
