TekSavvy is contributing $10,000 to the project, which is currently under construction.
A representative from TekSavvy says the funds are going toward an adoption room, acting as a “space that is warm and friendly in the new building [that] will support families and pets finding each other.”
In a recent statement, Lynn McGeachy from the Friends of the New Animal Shelter says the facility is set to open next month. They have a goal of $15,000 remaining to raise through donations made online or in person at the Civic Centre.
