A local internet company continues to take on the heavy hitters in their industry.
TekSavvy is asking people to visit www.paylesstoconnect.ca to support a CRTC decision to lower internet prices.
That decision reduced the wholesale rates that companies like Bell and Rogers can charge smaller ISPs.
According to a release, the large companies inflated costs and rates for competitors to the tune of 325-million over the last four years.
The deadline to comment is Valentine’s Day.
