A local tournament is helping support kids and families in crisis.
The Ronald McDonald House Tennis Tournament is taking place at the Joe Carpenter courts on McNaughton Avenue West in Chatham this weekend.
The two-day event begins at 5 o’clock Friday afternoon with recreational doubles. Competitive men’s and women’s doubles hit the court at 8 o’clock Saturday morning.
The weekend will include an appearance by Grimace, face painting for kids, raffle draws, and food trucks.
All proceeds support the Ronald McDonald House of Southwestern Ontario with locations in London and Windsor, providing families a home away from home when their child is receiving treatment in hospital.
