The accessible vehicle will assist with outreach programs and home visits.
They are thanking Farm Credit Canada and the AgriSpirit Fund for their generous financial assistance.
Sherri Saunders, Executive Director for the CKCHC expressed appreciation for the awarded funds, stating “We are grateful for the support from Farm Credit Canada coupled with a previous donation towards a mobile unit from a generous donor which has allowed us to replace the aging van and continue to provide many important services throughout our community.”
The van will be used to help promote CKCHC health programs allowing clinicians to visit homes and assist residents who have limited transportation options.
