“The Gift” Coming To Chatham-Kent For Christmas

Chatham-Kent is set to receive a mysterious and special “Gift” this holiday season.
Local organizers are now playing Santa’s little helpers and looking to spread Christmas joy to Chatham-Kent.
The Gift is coming.
“2020 will be Chatham-Kent’s best holiday season, not it’s worst,” reads the release from committee member Brent Wilken.
Although events continue to be cancelled into the holiday season with additional restrictions implemented due to the pandemic, the committee says Chatham-Kent is a community that proves time and time again, that we come together during difficult times.
“Help is coming. Something big is coming,” says Wilken. “Chatham-Kent has heard the disappointment and the call will be answered – help is on its way. We want to ensure Chatham-Kent that the pandemic will not cancel the holiday spirit in this community. No one will go without.”
Organizers say more information will be made public in the coming days and weeks.
Until then, dozens of Christmas initiative organizations big and small from all over Chatham-Kent continue to diligently work hand in hand as one with citizens to spark this flame.
“We ask you to be ready for the biggest event our community has ever seen,” adds Wilken.
Any local organization that has been is affected by the pandemic and had to cancel, modify or reduce holiday fundraising events to provide support for those in need are asked to contact the team at The Gift.
