Chatham-Kent police are searching for a car thief that managed to evade officers in Blenheim.
According to police officers spotted a vehicle that had been reported stolen in Perth County just before midnight Wednesday.
A short pursuit ended near the 401 at Victoria Rd. The suspect dumped the vehicle and fled into a cornfield.
The K9 unit was called, but the suspect managed to escape.
