A Chatham man has been arrested after allegedly threatening to shoot a family member.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers were called to a Semenyn Avenue home in Chatham at around 11:30 a.m. on Saturday regarding a threat complaint.
Officers arrived and learned that a man had attended the residence of a family member and threatened to shoot a woman.
A suspect was located in the area and arrested. Police have confirmed that the man does not have a valid firearms licence.
A 34-year-old Chatham man is now charged with uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm. He was taken to police headquarters and later released with a December court date.
