Municipal officials are hoping to capitalize on the crowds in downtown Chatham for this Saturday’s RetroFest as they look for feedback on the draft Chatham-Kent Transportation Master Plan.
Engineering Technologist Mark Ceppi says an open house will include information on everything from cycling and walking trails to public transit and parking around the municipality.
“It’s a really good way of getting good exposure to the public information centre, rather than people coming out at night after work, you can come ot the car show and see our table, well be set up right in front of the civic Centre, and have an opportunity to review the transportation master plan and provide feedback.”
Other public info sessions will be held during Cherry Fest in Blenheim, and WAMBO celebrations in Wallaceburg.
