
A truck driver is facing impaired driving charges following multiple traffic complaints on Highway 401 in Chatham-Kent.
The Ontario Provincial Police said officers received the complaints regarding a transport truck shortly before 5 p.m. on Monday.
Following an investigation, officers located and arrested a suspect.
A 42-year-old from Windsor is now charged with impaired driving, driving with a blood alcohol level over the legal limit, dangerous driving, and failing to meet permit limitations while driving.
The driver was also issued a 90-day driver’s licence suspension, and the vehicle will be impounded for seven days.
