Impaired driving charges have been laid following a single-vehicle crash on the 401. 
A transport slid off the road at the westbound Belle River off-ramp late Monday night.
Provincial Police say that while the driver wasn’t hurt, the truck and guard rails suffered extensive damage.
The man behind the wheel, a 44-year-old from Brant County, will be in court later this month to face the charges.
