A local man is facing charges following a two-vehicle collision in Chatham-Kent.
CK police officers responded to the collision on Longwoods Road at around 2:30 p.m. on Sunday. Authorities have not provided further information about the location of the crash.
Police said minor injuries were reported but have not stated how many people were injured or if they were taken to hospital.
While speaking with one of the drivers, officers could smell alcohol on his breath. He was arrested and taken to police headquarters for further testing.
As a result, a Charing Cross man has been charged with impaired driving and driving with a blood alcohol level over the legal limit. He was later released from custody with conditions and an October court date.
