Fire officials say there were no working smoke alarms in a Chatham home that caught fire early this morning.
Fire fighters responded to a blaze on Payne Street shortly before three o’clock.
Two women were taken to hospital with unknown injuries.
No word yet on how the fire started or the extent of damage.
