Camp U-Turn is a week long day camp for kids ages 6-11 in Wallaceburg and Brigden.
The group is holding a 12 hour walkathon today until 7pm.
Spokesperson Brian Horbin says everybody is welcome.
“You can come and join the kids for a walk, buy something at the bbq for lunch or supper, drop off a donation,” says Horbin. “It all goes to help kids in our community enjoy a great summer camp experience so we to see as many out as possible.”
The event goes at the WDSS track, there’s a food vendor to keep walkers fed and hydrated as they log their miles.
