Union Gas is helping save lives with a donation to the Dawn-Euphemia fire department.
The utility has given a $2000 grant to the township, earmarked for a defibrillator.
“At Union Gas, we relentlessly ensure the safety of our communities, customers, contractors, partners and employees,” said Chris Young, administration manager for storage and transmission operations, Union Gas. “We’re very pleased to show our continued support for the Dawn-Euphemia Fire Department with the purchase of a defibrillator which will help make people and this community safer.”
The fire department is volunteer-based, servicing the former Dawn portion of the township.
