Text messages have landed a Wallaceburg man in hot water with police.
Back in July, the 19-year-old was arrested for aggravated assault and released with conditions not to associate with specific parties.
Earlier this week, Chatham-Kent Police say the accused sent a text to one of those people.
The accused was found by police walking on James Street early Tuesday afternoon.
The teen has now been charged on outstanding warrants for failing to comply with previous release order and was remanded into custody.
