With just a few days to go before the end of the United Way of Chatham-Kent’s 2016 Campaign, the organization is looking to get as close as they can to their goal.

CEO Karen Kirkwood-Whyte says it’s down to the wire. “Well, you know that old example ‘Putting all our begs in one ask-et?’ That’s what we’re doing,” says Kirkwood Whyte. “I think at this point we’ll be a wee bit short of our target, but we’re not sure how much.”

The goal is $1.9-million and with an expected shortfall, the organization will have to decide to how best deliver services.
