A special community vaccine clinic is being held in Tilbury this week.
Hosted by the Tilbury District Family Health Team, tomorrow’s clinic is open to anyone, whether they are a Family Health Team patient or not.
Appointments are encouraged– call 519-682-2307 ext. 303. However, officials say some walk-ins will also be accepted based on availability.
The Moderna vaccine will be used for those 18 and older, and Pfizer for anyone 12 to 17 years old.
- Moderna vaccine eligibility:
- First Dose: Anyone from the public aged 18 years and older
- Second dose: Anyone from the public aged 18 years and older – 28 days after Pfizer or Moderna, 8 weeks after AstraZeneca (eligible if you had first dose of AstraZeneca before May 13th)
- Pfizer vaccine eligibility:
- First Dose: Anyone from the public ages 12-17 years old
- Second Dose: Anyone from the public ages 12-17 years old – 28 days after Pfizer
