DESCRIPTION:Celebrate 10 years of Hike for Hospice and 10 years of compassionate care with the Chatham-Kent Hospice – on Sunday\, May 3\, 2025\n\nRegistration is now open at www.hikeforhospiceck.com\n\nHike for Hospice is powered by Battery Boy!\nEnjoy a Pre-Hike Family Festival from 12 noon to 2 pm thanks to Fairway Wealth Management. The Family Festival includes live music\, food trucks\, memorial activities\, children’s activities\, lawn games\, a special tree planting ceremony and more.\n\nHike Mud Creek Trail (starting point is behind John McGregor Secondary School) at your leisure the week of April 26 to May 2 and/or join us for the in-person event and celebration on Sunday\, May 3rd.\n\n\nHike for Hospice welcomes participants of all abilities to come together to show their support for Hospice families. Before hitting the trail\, participants gather pledges to raise essential funds that ensures Hospice may continue to provide compassionate end-of-life care at no cost to families in our community.\n\nRegistration is free and participants are able to purchase a commemorative t-shirt and personalized memorial signs featuring the name and picture of a loved one who has passed. After Hike week\, families may collect the sign and have it as a keep-sake.

DESCRIPTION:5K Run & Wheel presented by Autoliv \nCommunity Living Chatham-Kent is gearing up for our 5K Run & Wheel being held on Saturday\, October 19th\, at the Mud Creek Trail. \nSchedule: \n9:00am – Registration\, T-shirt pick up\n10:20am – Welcoming\n10:30am – Kids Dash\n10:40am-Youth Run\n10:55am-5K Run begins\n11:00am – Walk & Wheel begins \nThe Kids Dash is a short run/walk (210m) for ages 2-7\, and the Youth Run (1.2km) is for ages 8-13. There is a route for Walkers and Wheelers (2.8km\, only wheelchairs\, no bicycles)\, and of course a timed 5K route for runners. It is a wonderful family event! No matter which element you take part in\, everyone will receive a finisher medal. Kids/Youth can register for any race.

DESCRIPTION:Collect pledges\, get out and join us as we hike at Mud Creek Trail between April 25-May 1\, 2022 in support of Hospice residents and their families.\n\nOf course\, if you can’t make it out to Mud Creek\, you can participate remotely by completing your hike wherever you would like. The important thing is to get active while raising essential funds to support future Hospice residents and families.\n\nAlthough this event is free\, we encourage participants to register. There you will also be able to purchase a commemorative Hike for Hospice t-shirt or memorial signs that will be displayed along the trail throughout Hike week.
