Thamesville is getting a brand new bridge, and it’s going to cost upwards of $7-million. 
Earlier this week, Council voted to completely re-do the Victoria Road span acrossthe Thames River, and this replacement is slated to start soon.
The existing bridge, built 80 years ago, will accommodate traffic until the new bridge is complete.
The new bridge will be wide enough to handle modern farm equipment, and will also have sidewalks.
Construction is expected to end in December 2018
