
A history of domestic incidents between a Wallaceburg couple has resulted in more than a dozen charges.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers responded to a Wallaceburg residence shortly before noon on Tuesday regarding an intimate partner violence incident and found a man and a woman outside.
Following an investigation, officers learned that the couple had been involved in a volatile relationship with a history of incidents that included threats, firearm possession, and property damage.
As a result, a 23-year-old Wallaceburg man has been charged with four counts of assault with a weapon, five counts of mischief, two counts of pointing a firearm, two counts of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, uttering threats, and cruelty to animals.
He was taken to police headquarters and held for a bail hearing.
